Parmelee House
Overview
A two-story wooden house designed for Ms. Harriet Frances Parmelee, a missionary from the United States who participated in the Omi mission. Around 1945, Mr. Eizo Kakimoto, a staff member of the W.M.Vories & Co., Architects, took over and lived with some expansions and renovations.
Currently, the house is inherited by architectural designer Ryo Tanaka, and is being used as a private residence and cafe bar.
